My interest in candy making was inspired by my father. Each holiday season Dad made candy. I loved to watch and was thrilled when I was old enough to stir. 35 years later, I'm still stirring. The name Liselle is a combination of his name, Ellsworth and mine. Dad had a huge heart and spirit, and this is my way of honoring his memory and keeping him a part of a venture that would have tickled his toes.
The holidays have always been a time of heart felt giving. For many years this candy was made for family, friends, and eventually friends of friends. With an enormous amount of encouragement and support from all these people, Liselle Vintage Caramels has been created. It truly has been a collective process of inspiration and a lesson in how we all touch one another's lives.
I genuinely hope that you enjoy the caramels' premium quality and they bring a smile to your lips. But most importantly, it's a pleasure to include another heart into the family tradition.
